Sales Representative

We're seeking a motivated self-starter to lead customer-facing sales and relationship management for a portfolio of independently owned craft brands, spanning beer, spirits, and wine, on behalf of Seppeltsfield Road Distillers and Rehn Bier in the Barossa.
This is a new, autonomous role that will cover customers across South Australia; everywhere from the Hills to the Limestone Coast, Riverland to the metro area. You’ll be out on the road visiting trade accounts, running tastings, helping close sales, keeping people happy, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
As the role develops and the wins stack up, there’s scope to shape your own team and build a sales and support function around you.
It’s hands-on, practical, and built for someone who knows how to get things done without needing a manual. You’ll be just as comfortable dropping off a keg or box of spirits, as you are talking shop with a bottle shop buyer or closing a commercial deal.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Sales & Relationship Management**
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers across SA (wholesale, retail, on-premise)
- Conduct regular visits to bottle shops, bars, venues, and distributors
- Identify and win new business in key growth areas
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
**Tastings & Events**
- Organise and host in-store tastings, trade nights, and staff education sessions
- Represent multiple brands at public and industry events
**Logistics & Deliveries**
- Carry out or coordinate deliveries for key customers where required
- Work with internal teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
**Invoicing & Admin**
- Issue and follow up on invoices promptly
- Keep CRM, sales pipeline, and stock systems up to date
- Provide regular reporting on activity and customer feedback
**Brand Representation**
- Act as a voice and face for several independent brands with distinct personalities
- Be able to clearly communicate each brand’s story, values, and products
**Team Growth (Once Established)**
- Once the foundations are in place, there will be the opportunity to recruit and lead additional sales or support staff as the customer base grows
**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven experience in beverage sales, hospitality trade, or wholesale distribution
- A natural people-person who enjoys connecting with others
- Comfortable working autonomously and juggling multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, can-do attitude
- Be able to think commercially and strategically
- Able to lift and move cartons/kegs for deliveries and tastings
- SA driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ideally based in or near the Barossa, with a willingness to travel regularly throughout South Australia.
- Experience in wine/beer/spirits is a strong advantage
- Have a current RSA certification
- Have the right to work permanently in Australia

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
