Immigration Consultant

Our Australian operations has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, specializing in inbound immigration including the Employer-Sponsored, Skilled, Business, and Family migration visa programs.

We are looking to recruit experienced Registered Migration Agents who are passionate about their work and are looking for long-term career options in a solid global firm.

Our staff enjoy a hybrid working model where remote work is fully supported, and the required tools (laptop and software packages) are provided to do this effectively. Our preference is for a full-time commitment, though working days/hours can be negotiated.

Managed by experienced immigration professionals, our teams are connected virtually, incorporating staff from each of our Australian offices. Consultants and Managers collaborate and share knowledge freely, expanding on skills and providing support on difficult matters. An interest in ongoing learning and training/mentoring is highly valued.

**UTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide end to end service in relation to securing work/residence authorization for corporate clients or direct consumers.
- Manage client expectations and provide regular and timely updates.
- Draft and prepare invoices in accordance to client’s contractual agreement or Newland Chase KPIs, ensuring every service is billed as per approved pricing.
- Monitor documents expiry dates and alert clients as appropriate.
- Input all necessary information in Immigo (or any other data base used by the group to monitor and deliver Immigration services) and ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure filing/archiving of every case as per Newland Chase requirements.
- Respond promptly and accurately to all communication and requests from applicants, corporate Mobility/HR, internal clients and Government Authorise.
- Maintain and manage the Client/Agent/Partner relationships as well as meet service level requirements.
- Ensure the service delivered is consistent with agreed Scope of Work (SOW) and alert Client and/or Manager should the service require additional quote.
- Work closely with relevant Newland Chase departments i.e. Client Services, Business Development, Finance teams, etc. to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Good communication / negotiation / organization skills,

- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize workload.
- Experience dealing with government and other stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of Immigration Legislation and Policy in Australia.Develop and maintain solid relationships with Government/Immigration authorities and obtain updates related to specific cases or Policies if any changes.

**Additional Responsibilities as a Senior Consultant**
- Assist the Managing Director as and when required.
- Prepare all reports as requested by the Account within scope.
- Assist Immigration Director / Finance team to follow up with payment collection as and when required.
- Support any research work or ad-hoc duties / assignments related to Immigration matters as and when required by potential clients or internal stakeholders.
- To help further develop potential business by cross-selling CIBT services if there is any opportunity.
- To provide guidance and support to the rest of the immigration team and help train and upskill as required.

**Education, Qualifications and Work Experience**
- Current MARA Registration in Australia.
- Must have at least 3-5 years’ relevant immigration experience.
- Excellent computer skill, MS office, Outlook, etc.
- Superior English ability and fluency.
- Proven client service experience.
- High attention to detail.

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
