**Your new role**
- Manage the end to end Internal Audit projects
- Develop scope of the audit, audit programs, field work, discuss and communicate findings with stake holders, report results with senior management, assist and influence business units to change policies, process and systems to remediate issues identified.
- Provide professional advice and insights to management to enable more informed decisions and enhance their capacity to manage key risks.
- Support the business in identifying and evaluating exposures to operational and financial risks and compliance improvement and facilitate agreement of countermeasure actions.
- Coordinate and manage the business to complete Internal Control documentation
- Provide professional advice to business on how to remediate their deficiencies resulting from management testing and resolve control deficiencies to achieve Internal Controls Compliance.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the internal controls process
- Provide communication, training, education, and support to increase understanding and awareness of Internal Controls across the business units and operations.
- Drive management in identifying and evaluating exposures to operational and financial risk
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
- Accounting and Finance Degree qualified
- CPA/CA/CISA or IIA qualified advantageous
- 3 to 5 years + internal audit or external audit experience minimum. Open to commercial or accounting firm background.
- Sound knowledge of Risk Management, Internal Controls principles and assurance (including SOX Act 2002 and COSO Framework)
- SAP preferred but not essential
**What you'll get in return**

6 months $52 + Super per hour (which is approx. 100k + Super. Also flexible depending on experience level)
