As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced **Design Coordinator** to join our team in **Canberra, ACT.**
**ABOUT YOU**
- Working knowledge and experience of design principles and practice.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Relevant building and tertiary qualifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
**KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES**
- Assist with the coordination of the design of projects in accordance with the Project Team and ensure the design intent is respected and cost, program, buildability, environmental, safety and quality management are satisfactorily addressed with a best practice approach to processes, tools and techniques.
- Support the Design Manager and site project management teams through coordinating and monitoring activities, resolving issues, providing QA, producing reports, providing technical direction and managing contracts where required.
- Assist with Client coordination and liaison.
- Assist in developing scopes for consultants based on the Project Brief and Contract Requirements.
- Assist with Implementing and managing the Safety in Design process.
