What does the job look like?

The Transport Manager is ultimately responsible for the safe and cost-effective management of the transport at our Eagle Farm site in Queensland. In this role you will be responsible for meeting our commitment to our customers through the provision of quality service and operational efficiency.

Working in collaboration with our people, every decision you make will be driven by safety, service and cost, partnering closely with customers and sub-contracting companies to achieve and exceed operational and financial metrics. You will also take ownership to identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives, train and develop staff and adhere to BevChain policies and procedures. Key areas:

- Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring commitment to Safety, COR and Quality requirements at all times
- Operational responsibility with a focus on driving improvement and innovation
- Effective management and development of direct reports and driver workforce to provide efficiency
- Analyse equipment and operational tasks to deliver productive outcomes through resource utilisation, route optimisation and subcontractor management
- Ensure the Eagle Farm operation is providing superior service offerings to customers through a proactive approach to relationship management and commitment to achieving contracted KPI’s
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote continuous improvement

- Experience managing people within a route-market and shuttle transport teams.
- Ability to lead and develop a high-performance team
- Understanding of financial drivers and cost control
- Process driven, analytical and methodical
