**The Role**

Customer Service Officers are the frontline of the Australian Government Security Agency, delivering high quality customer service in a fast paced environment, to AGSVA's customers and stakeholders, including Defence, Defence Industry and other Government Agencies.

Duties of the position include but are not limited to:

- Escalation point to support more complex enquiries;
- Processing and transacting security clearance related products, and delegation responsibilities where required;
- Working collaboratively within a diverse team and work environment;
- Ongoing engagement with on-the-job training and participation in activities to build and maintain customer service skills, systems and product knowledge.

**Our Team**
AGSVA is the central agency for the processing and granting of security clearances for the majority of Australian Government agencies and state and territory agencies.

You will be part of an energetic AGSVA Customer Service team that is respectful, trusted and proven, contributing to a positive service delivery culture in a high tempo environment.

As an APS 4 Customer Service Officer, you will operate with limited direction within a fast paced service delivery environment to perform more complex customer service and administrative work.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated ability to operate and produce high quality customer service outcomes in a fast paced environment with competing priorities;
- Strong communication skills to support a diverse range of stakeholders;
- Developed interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and responsiveness to adhoc or alternate taskings; and
- High level computer literacy, with demonstrated ability to learn new systems.
