**Job Description Summary**: As the General Sales Manager for AKA (ASEAN, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand) Enterprise Digital Solutions (EDS) at GE HealthCare you will have significant control over commercial priorities and impact quality, efficiency and effectiveness of your own customer facing team. You will be guided by commercial practices and policies that can be shaped by this role.

You will have moderate autonomy in the role of GM to enter into executive arrangements and your high level of commercial judgement will ensure success in this role. You will have a thorough understanding of the marketplace and the ability to incorporate a sales strategy that will impact the future customer/marketplace requirements.

The Enterprise Digital Solutions (EDS) business of GE Healthcare includes the traditional Healthcare IT solutions such as PACS, RIS, VNA and CVIT, as well as the Edison Digital Health Platform that enables hospitals and health systems to effectively deploy the clinical, workflow, analytics and AI tools that would support the improvement of care delivery and the promotion of high-efficiency operations.

Your portfolio will include all of these product solutions, in addition to working closely with the other GE HealthCare business units to provide a seamless business front to the GE HealthCare customer base.

**Essential Responsibilities (include but not limited to)**:

- Establish sales quotas and coaching/mentoring processes to continue to build a successful sales team.
- Establish and identify key sales representative metrics to evaluate continued progress by the collective team.
- Determine sales personas needed to achieve annual success
- Effectively manage, motivate, and recruit channel partners for the marketplace. Sales distribution should correlate to the market statistics of healthcare facilities as well as actual sizes of these facilities.
- Identify offerings within ASEAN, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand that will allow the focused offerings to create greater market penetration.
- Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others.
- Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

**About You**:
Your communication skills will be pivotal to your success. You understand how to influence others both verbally and in writing, and you are skilled at knowing how to communicate at all levels of an organisation.

You must have a strong acumen for coaching sales and channel sales representatives and incorporate the amount of operational rigor necessary to achieve successful operational budgetary success.

You will be mentored and supported as you navigate your new role in GE HealthCare, however it is critical that you are a “self-starter” and can take initiative. Sometimes you just have to figure things out and not be afraid to ask questions until you get to the right person or answer

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Significant experience in Sales & Digital Sales Direct
- Strong acumen for forecasting and sales deal review process
- Experience/Understanding of the countries that make up the AKA region
- Extensive leadership and coaching experience
- Project management qualifications are desirable and/or a demonstrated ability to lead large scale commercial engagements
- In-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others
- Working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Sound judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers.
- Demonstrated experience in taking a new perspective on existing solutions.
- Extensive technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Experience working across a matrix organisation with excellence communication skills
- Compliance with vaccination requirements as per legislation
