**Description**:
As a marketing assistant, you will work closely with the marketing manager to ensure that our marketing efforts are executed effectively across various channels. This role requires a combination of strong communication skills, creative thinking, and an ability to collaborate with various teams to meet our communication goals for Gage Roads Freo.
**Social Media Management**:

- Develop and implement social media content calendars across all channels.
- Create engaging, on-brand content, including posts, stories, and graphics.
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to comments, and engage with the audience.
- Analyse social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and recommend improvements.
- Stay current with social media trends and platform updates to adapt strategies as needed

**Internal Communications**:

- Collaborate with the management team to create and distribute venue-wide announcements, newsletters, and updates.
- Assist in maintaining the company's internal communication channels.
- Support the organization of internal events and meetings.
- Ensure consistency and clarity in all internal communications materials.

**In-Venue Marketing Materials**:

- Work with design team to develop in-venue marketing materials such as posters, flyers, banners, and digital displays.
- Maintain a calendar of in-venue marketing campaigns, ensuring timely updates and removal of outdated materials (Eg In venue posters).
- Collaborate with the venue teams to gather feedback and insights on the effectiveness of in-venue materials.

**Content Creation**:

- Assist in content creation for marketing materials, both digital and print.
- Write and edit marketing copy, including product descriptions, promotional materials, and advertisements.
- Ensure brand consistency and messaging across all marketing channels.
- Work with designers and photographers to create visual content as needed.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Collect and analyse data related to marketing campaigns, social media performance, and internal communication engagement.
- Generate regular reports to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives and provide insights for improvement.
- Use data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.

**Collaboration and Team Support**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and product development, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals
- Provide support for marketing projects, initiatives, and events as required.
- Communicate progress updates and contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions.

**Skills and Experiences**:
