**This opportunity**
The Manager - Performance and Management Reporting (Spring Office) is a key role in the central Spring Office. The manager is accountable for all Spring-based reporting to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Spring Office, Spring workstream leads, Spring initiative owners, and Senior Leadership Team. The manager is required to work closely with the Finance team to ensure alignment and consistency in reporting / messaging. The manager may need to support coaching and onboarding of new members or stakeholders to our program management tool.
**Responsibilities**
- Partner with Spring Office and finance team to establish link of the Spring financial plan with TPG Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes including alignment of budget targets to Spring financial plan.
- Produce reports, which include key metrics, financial results, KPIs, and variance reporting relative to the Spring financial plan and other central Spring Office goals and objectives. This requires collaboration with the Chief Spring Officer, finance representations within the Spring Office, other support functions, and possibly with consultants.
- Financial reports are required monthly, quarterly, and annually. This may require use of other TPG systems (Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP, and non-ERP) including mapping for Jedox reporting.
- Performance reports against workstreams and initiatives (e.g., milestone tracking, impact tracking, KPI tracking, status updates) are required weekly. Performance analysis required from our reporting and initiative management platform to provide transparency of progress and support finance business partners.
- Develop reports, dashboards, workbooks, etc., in our reporting and initiative management platform to maximise the insights related to the Spring program and automate to minimise the time required to repeat the analysis.
- Ensure all submissions are prepared on time and are valid, complete, and accurate.
- Ensure high levels of reporting accuracy and integrity with regards to alignment to trends, targets, objectives, reporting requirements and quality control by ensuring sufficient time to self-review as well as review by senior team members.
- Assist in the collation of the various data input cycles across the Spring workstream leads (and possibly the initiative owners) and the Finance business partners. Identify opportunities to automate and reduce manual preparation.
- Communicate or liaise with direct management, finance personnel and others in the business in meeting tasks assigned to them. Support rigour of a disciplined cadence of governance to drive a performance culture and rhythm.
- Support coaching and onboarding new stakeholders or team members to the Spring program.
- Liaise with the support team for our reporting and initiative management platform to ensure full user access and visibilities are established and set up.
- Manage user access and back-end controls for our reporting and initiative management platform and organise / lead training.
**Knowledge and experience**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a financial manager or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, accounting, or economics.
- CA / CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
- Data analytics and good IT skills - Advanced knowledge of Excel required, proficiency in Oracle, Jedox and PowerPoint a plus.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good interpersonal and coaching skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, and organised.
- Good communication and presentation skills - verbal and oral.
- Excellent quantitative analytical skills.
- Commercial understanding of, or interest in, the telecommunications sector, its revenue and cost drivers and general business strategy highly desirable.
