**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the Performance Reporting & Planning Manager will take ownership of performance reporting, planning / forecasting, and the delivery of insights to drive better business performance.

This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne. Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home.

**How will I help?
- Lead the reporting, planning and analysis function, including all performance reporting packs for Operations teams, the Executive Leadership Team, and the board of directors.
- Deliver strong commercial advice challenging current business assumptions, including financial modelling of revenue and operating costs for to support strategic initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement in quality of reporting and commercial insights. Act as a catalyst for change by challenging assumptions and status quo.
- Lead the production of the Annual Operating Plan for the full P&L and capital expenditure including formal budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support the preparation of business cases for property refurbishments, redevelopments and capital asset purchases, including creation of cost and benefits projections.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities to uplift performance
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and develop a strong understanding of your function in depth, including key activities and drivers.

**What do I need?**
- Finance/Business Degree qualified
- Post Graduate or relevant professional qualification desired.
- Experience in a similar or fast-paced role, with excellent demonstration of developing presentation packs for senior leadership, commercial analysis, reporting and planning capabilities
- Well developed skills in financial modelling, business partnering, effective collaboration and ability to influence
- Experience in supporting a business unit ‘end-to-end’ in a large organisation.
