Your Position at St John of God Geelong Hospital
You will be responsible for ensuring the effective coordination of establishing new consultants and maintaining existing consultants at the Sessional Consulting Suites.
The Position- Participate in the development in the improvement of the practice.- Participate in the development and maintenance of practice policies and procedures.- Arrange and attend consulting staff meetings monthly.- Arrange and attend medical practitioner meetings as scheduled.- Maintain an open communication with all caregivers and consultants.- Always be courteous and friendly to customers
- patients, caregivers, visitors and doctors.- Promote a harmonious intra and inter departmental environment at all times.- Ensure positive, respectful staff relationships are maintained and promoted.- Professional telephone manner.- Liaise in a courteous manner with all levels of caregivers, internal and external customers and handle any queries and ensure they are responded to promptly or that the query is directed to the correct person for response.- Process and reconcile daily banking.- Work on reception, back fill all functions as required- Assist with the control of Outstanding Debtors including follow up phone calls with Funds, WC, TAC, DVA or patients.
You will have experience in management or high level practice administrative role and understanding of administrative processes.
To succeed you will have problem-solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with an ability to follow instructions from Consultants and sound computer literacy in office packages, including Genie or similar practice management system.
