Join a leading Australian wholesaler as their Inventory Controller in their Western Sydney based Warehouse.

**Your new company**
Your new company is a leading supplier and manufacturer of power systems, products and engineering equipment with a warehouse based in Western Sydney. They have an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as an Inventory Controller on a permanent basis.

**Your new role**
As an Inventory Controller you will be responsible for keeping track of stock levels, analysing and planning for stock changes to communicate across to other business departments. Reporting to the Service Supervisor & Sales Director, you will be contributing to the team’s ability to serve customers at a high standard. Your duties will include:

- Update other departments regarding status of stock
- Effectively manage inventory to a high standard
- Conduct cycle counts and stock takes
- Liaise with warehouse suppliers to arrange for equipment servicing and ordering of supplies.
- Facilitating transportation requirements for outgoing stock
- Create and implement warehouse floor arrangement plan to maximise warehouse space
- Assist with forklift operation and unloading of containers where required

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of warehousing, inventory and stock control
- A valid Forklift license
- Inventory management experience
- Strong WMS/ERP experience
- Strong computer literacy including Excel
