At Nanosonics, we're a world leader in infection prevention solutions. We're looking for an Inventory Controller to join our Sydney HQ and play a critical role in ensuring our inventory processes are accurate, efficient, and ready to support innovation in healthcare.
About the RoleAs our Inventory Controller, you'll be responsible for managing all inventory control activities to maximise accuracy and efficiency while minimising waste. You'll collaborate closely with Purchasing, Goods Inwards, Dispatch, and Production teams to keep inventory flowing seamlessly, while driving continuous improvement across stock accuracy, reporting, and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead inventory management processes, ensuring stock accuracy and availability
- Oversee stocktakes, cycle counts, reconciliations, and system adjustments
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems and generate meaningful inventory reports
- Identify and resolve variances proactively, supporting operational efficiency
- Implement best practices to reduce errors, improve working capital, and minimise waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Warehouse, Supply Chain, QA, and Production
- 3–5 years' experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain (manufacturing or logistics environment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of stock control, cycle counting, and reconciliation
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting
- High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and continuous improvement mindset
- Collaborative, organised, and committed to accuracy and efficiency
- Exposure to regulated industries (medical devices or pharmaceuticals) is an advantage
