**About the Position**

We are looking for Program Coordinator to support our Skills 4 Life and Everyday Life Skills programs across our Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Ipswich teams.

You will be based on the Sunshine Coast and support the other teams remotely.

This position combines program coordination and your active participation as a staff member attending the activities _(attendance required at our Sunshine Coast based activities only) _

Our programs help participants develop skills such as: independence, community access and social participation. They are activity based, centre and community based and are run as small groups. We are growing our programs, so we are looking for a coordinator to assist us in developing and running new and current programs across Montrose.

Previous experience in an early childhood or education setting developing programs or experience developing and running disability life-skills programs will be highly regarded.

The role is offered on a part time basis, envisaged to be between 2-3 days per week and is located at Maroochydore. You will be provided with a mobile phone and laptop to help perform your duties.

**The ideal applicant for this position has**:

- Previous experience designing innovative programs;
- Demonstrated ability to assisting with care plans.
- Experience in recruitment and staffing activities, eg interviewing, completing reference checking and similar.
- Strong ability to understand service gaps and identify growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to complete venue and risk assessments with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience as a support worker and a genuine interest in attending events as a staff member to support our customers.
- Confidence with working remotely.
