**Confluence Water**, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water’s Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Senior Contracts Administrator** to join our North Delivery Team working in Partnership with Sydney Water on recently awarded contracts. Reporting to the Commercial and Procurement Manager, this permanent role is based in our Chatswood Head Office.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Ensure compliance with subcontract and Head Contract obligations including management of variations and extensions of time, compliance with tendering guidelines and procedures and provision of support to project teams with cost control and forecasting.
- Assist Procurement Manager in the development of procurement strategy and procedures to ensure that CW meets its commercial, probity and risk management objectives.
- Effectively plan, programme, and manage tender packages, including preparation, issue to market, assessment and recommendation.
- Subcontract claim assessment and payment schedule preparation in accordance with the Security of Payments Act.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Tertiary qualification in Construction and or Business or related field
- Proven contract management experience within a commercial organisation
- Demonstrated ability in a dynamic contracting service orientated environment
- General knowledge of construction works including equipment, techniques, drawing, specifications, building materials and required standards within a project management environment.
- Significant previous experience working in the engineering and construction industry as a Contracts Administrator
