**About the Role**:
In the role of Procurement Officer, you will work as part of a dynamic procurement team to assist with developing and implementing innovative procurement strategies and activities. Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and review end to end procurement activity by creating Purchase Orders and processing payments. Assisting with procurement planning and documentation, evaluation and supplier negotiation, contract documentation, supply arrangements establishment and maintenance.
- Provide accurate and professional advice and support to Translink staff regarding end to end procure 2 pay activity.
- Liaise, negotiate and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders regarding Translink procure 2 pay.
- processes, procedures, training and delegations.
- Assist Translink staff with contract management including planning, contract administration, Accounts Payable and reporting.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of initiatives to improve procure 2 Pay processes and activities including assisting with establishing and maintaining systems, tracking and reporting to support the team objectives.
- Support complex procurement projects by undertaking administrative support functions as directed by the Senior Procurement Advisor including reporting on progress and outcomes.
**What We're Looking For**:
- Experience in contemporary procure to pay and contract strategies, policies and practices relevant to the key tasks for the position.
- An ability to communicate in a clear and succinct manner with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience in leveraging data and technology to assist the business in making meaningful decisions including participating in the design of new and innovative solutions.
- Experience in collaborating with team members and stakeholders to work through challenges and overcome obstacles.
**Highly Desirable**: Professional certification in procurement.
