**Downer** is part of a national programme of the design and construction of fibre deeper into selected Fibre to the Node (FTTN) network areas. The extension of fibre within these FTTN areas will allow premises to place orders for higher speed services via a Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) connection. With project offices based in Hexham, NSW and Canning Vale, WA the teams have commenced Design and Construction activities under the **N2P Evolution Program** in these states.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We’re seeking an experienced **Project Coordinator **to support a range of stakeholders within the Telecommunications business by coordinating design and construction activities while oversee administrative duties. While supporting the national project you’ll be point of contact for local office operations. This is a permanent full time role based at our **Hexham NSW** office. Responsibilities and tasks include but not limited to:
- preparing reports
- handling information requests
- preparing correspondence
- maintaining and updating project records
- assisting in the development of improved workflows and processes.
**ABOUT YOU**
To be successful in the role you need to be an excellent multi-tasker who can manage conflicting priorities, likes a challenge and genuinely enjoys working with others. In addition, we like to see a strong and persistent approach to resolving problems at a detailed level to meet project requirements. We’re looking for:
- Proven project coordination experience in a multi-disciplinary project team within a large organisation preferable in the Telecommunication industry or Project Management Office (PMO) operations environment
- Ability to generate reports from disparate data sets
- Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
- Flexibility within role being able to adjust to any given task or situation
- Experience in Systems and Process Improvement is desirable
