We are excited to be hiring for Organics Manager - NSW which plays a crucial role in helping Remondis to grow and develop its organics business.
The role will be based in Tomago or Lake Macquarie or Port Macquarie
REMONDIS is at the front end of the growing and developing FOGO industry. It runs two successful facilities in Port Macquarie and Lack Macquarie and has an ambition of doing much more.
The role of Organics Manager is a rear opportunity to be involved in operational excellence as well as have a forward-looking focus for future growth and development of REMONDIS’s footprint in organics/composting.
You will be involved in identifying future growth opportunities, building business cases for further infrastructure developments, making tender submissions, and integrating current REMONDIS’s waste streams while also supporting and overseeing two existing organics operations in Lake Macquarie and Port Macquarie.
This role is a combination of a commercial responsibility for the existing business and business development for future growth and integration

**Who you are**:
You need to have:
- Tertiary qualifications in agriculture, chemistry, environmental science, business or other relevant disciplines.
- Exposure to or comparable experience within Agriculture or Environmental Studies.
- Confidence to manage staff with excellent communication, both written and oral, and interpersonal skills
- Strong commercial and business expertise
- Resourceful problem solver who is not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Strong negotiation and influential skills
- Strong ability to build cross-industry partnerships and constructively work with local government officials and regulators
