We are seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our team, working with children with disabilities and supporting the administration of our therapy practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support to therapist in carrying out therapy sessions with children with disabilities
- Assist with the preparation of therapy materials and equipment
- Participate in therapy sessions as directed by the therapist
- Observe and document progress of clients during therapy sessions
- Maintain a safe and organized therapy environment
- Provide administrative support to the therapy team, including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and answering phones
- Contribute to the overall smooth running of the therapy practice, including adhering to policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

- Allied Health university student or enrolment in Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
- Experience working with children with disabilities (desired but not essential)
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Providing both centre-based and mobile services, we are looking for a motivated and passionate Allied Health Assistant, to join our team. This role includes both mobile and clinic work with access to our therapy room and large range of resources.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)
