An opportunity exists for a Allied Health Advanced - Research Co-ordinator to provide specialised research skills and co-ordinates research programs across Allied Health in the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This position will develop research infrastructure and capacity through mentoring, training, and assistance to SCHHS Allied Health staff for research activities, and supervision of research students.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver specialised clinical research skills and consultancy services within Allied Health, with mínimal direct clinical supervision.
- Work collaboratively within Allied Heath SCHHSHHS, with health care consumers and with multidisciplinary internal and external stakeholders in the leadership of profession specific, service-wide, quality improvements in research and clinical practice, shaping service delivery across the continuum of patient care.
- Collaborate at a work unit / service level (Allied Health Professions) to lead research planning and research activities within SCHHS Allied Health.
- Provide leadership in developing the SCHHS Allied Health professional competence, knowledge base, and clinical practice and service delivery standards.
