Our Enabling Technology Team within the Digital Information Office is seeking an **ICT Project Officer - Facilities **to undertake a range of project management and support services to ensure the smooth functioning of our systems across the state

This role offers the opportunity for frequent travel across the state, providing you with the chance to explore different regional office locations while undertaking crucial tasks encompassing network audits, legacy equipment decommissioning, equipment installation, patch cabling, and comprehensive network testing.

You will collaborate closely with Enabling Technology teams, where your expertise will also be instrumental in preparing project proposals and providing technical input into scope requirements to drive site network enhancements as well as server and equipment upgrades, supporting staff with network changes and training needs and assessing and managing identified site outages effectively.

**About You**

Essential to your success in this role will be your strong background in ICT, with specific experience in SD WAN Network Environments considered highly advantageous. With demonstrated experience in navigating complex ICT environments and strong grasp of networking fundamentals, you confidently tackle challenges head-on, utilising analytical thinking to navigate through various technical hurdles and find innovative solutions.

As frequent travel is required, you must thrive both independently and as part of a remote team, collaborating seamlessly to achieve objectives. With a keen understanding of project management principles and practices you will have demonstrated experience in executing projects within approved processes and procedure within the ICT sector.
