**Have you considered working within NSW Health on an ICT project?**
The SWSLHD ICT Clinical Systems Team are seeking expressions of interest for ICT and Healthcare professionals for several projects being implemented across the district. These roles include a range of disciplines and skill levels and we encourage anyone who feels their skills could benefit our district to register their interest.
The roles are Temporary with the potential for Full Time employment dependent on the requirements of the team. Roles are part of a range of dynamic projects working to enhance a variety of ICT Functions across the district. Whilst not essential, having clinical or healthcare knowledge will be advantageous in these roles.
Available roles include but are not limited to**:Change Managers, Clinical Trainers, Business Analysts, Application Specialists, Project Managers & Project Support Officers.**
**Change Managers**
As a Change Manager you will champion organisational change in workflows for the implementation of innovative Tech solutions and hardware within a Health setting. With your main goal being to ensure you bring a variety of stakeholders on the journey of change with you.
Successful change managers:
- Demonstrate a consultative approach using superior negotiation skills to assist numerous stakeholders (both clinical and non-clinical) to understand the benefits of the organisational change for both the clinician and patient journey.
- Implement a patient centric approach at the heart of everything you do utilising excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to transition seamlessly between clinicians, executives and staff.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the collation of relevant information to develop a rollout, implementation and training plan and be key in driving delivery of the project to completion and success.
**Clinical Trainers**
As a Clinical Trainer at SWSLHD you will:
- Be responsible for delivery of programs and activities that provide quality learning and education experiences by facilitating, coordinating and evaluating training sessions.
- Be involved in the development and implementation of learning activities relating to ICT projects across SWSLHD.
- Provide advice and guidance on issues and challenges related to delivering training across the district.
The role will allow you to develop and maintain effective professional relationships with the learning team, Project team, ICT staff, internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for trainers across several disciplines both clinical and non-clinical which include but are not limited to:
- Nurses,
- Midwives
- Bio-med
- Medical
- Pharmacy
- Clinical Information
- Corporate Services
- IT Professionals
**Business Analysts**
As a business analyst at SWSLHD:
- Will be a great communicator, competent in stakeholder engagement and be analytically minded.
- Able to assess the needs of the business and complete a gap analysis required for the current and future state of Project Delivery.
- Be adept in report writing and be able to collate important information to be disseminated to the Change Manager, Project and Business Managers.
- Will need to be adaptable and have strong negotiation skills.
- Be actively involved in coordination of business processes.
**Application Specialists**
As an Application Specialist you will be required to:
- Undertake activities directly related to the building of electronic documentation, orders, iView, flowsheets, summary views.
This role is best suited to an innovative and fast learner who is competent in Application building and management. Previous experience in Cerner (health information and EHR technologies) or similar programs will be advantageous.
**Project Managers**
The Project Manager is the driving force behind the project acting as a conduit of the project within the agreed timeframes, budget, quality, and resources to deliver the organizations objectives.
As the project manager you will:
- Provide guidance and leadership to the team in the implementation of the project in order maximise workflows and enhancements for SWSLHD services.
- Be a natural leader with outstanding communication skills.
- Will have extensive project management experience and thrive on the opportunity to interact with internal and external stakeholders and pride yourself on delivering meaningful, desirable outputs.
- Having previous health experience or exposure to health-related undertakings is valuable as you will be able to hit the ground running in the Project.
**Project Support Officers**
As a project support officer, you will be supporting the day to day running of the project including assisting the Project Manager.
A project officer must have:
- Strong administration skills, impeccable attention to detail and be skilled in secretarial duties such as minute taking, collating, and disseminating reports,
