As a member of the Safer Gambling team, you will play a key role in monitoring and ensuring the well-being of our customers by analyzing their transactions and account behaviour to identify potential indicators of problematic gambling. Your primary responsibility will be to detect early warning signs of risky behaviour, intervene when necessary, and provide support to those customers who may be experiencing difficulties with gambling.

In addition to your core duties of analysis and intervention, you will have the opportunity to work closely with customers who exhibit concerning behaviour, offering guidance and assistance to help them make informed decisions and take the necessary steps toward safer gambling practices. This may involve educating customers on available tools and resources, such as self-exclusion or deposit limits, to help them maintain control over their gambling activity.

Through your contributions, you will help shape the company's commitment to responsible gambling, ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of care and customer support. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about promoting safer gambling practices and want to make a meaningful impact within the industry.

**Where and how you can work**
This role is based in Brisbane, Australia (HQ). At Entain AUS & NZ, we value a flexible work environment and support a hybrid working model, allowing employees to spend two days a week at the office, ensuring work-life balance and individual preferences.

**_Please note: This role requires flexibility beyond the standard Monday to Friday, 9-5 schedule._**

**Your day-to-day.**
- Monitor customer behaviour using data monitoring systems and manual reviews of transactions.
- Offer assistance for inquiries related to safer gambling.
- Engage with customers exhibiting signs of potential problem gambling.
- Manage customer self-exclusion requests.
- Act as a point of contact for distressed customers and their families, providing support.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and teams.
- Complete daily administrative tasks.

- Proficiency in managing and handling sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.

- Familiarity with IT concepts and tools is essential.
- Knowledge of both the wagering industry and safer gambling practices or the ability to develop such knowledge.
