**Position Overview**:
**Seeking Casual workers to fill various supports with participants** as follows:

- **Casual Support workers /mentors**for supporting participants with Social & Community access as well as assistance with Daily tasks
- The hours vary depending on the needs of each individual client, various age groups but mostly children so you need to have a Blue card to work with children.
- Currently in urgent need of qualified experienced workers to join our team.
- We are looking for people that have genuine passion in supporting people live life how they want, your role will play a critical role in other people's lives so your commitment to providing a client centred service is essential. Having Prior experience supporting people on the NDIS is highly desirable.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with travel to outings, social and other activities.
- Providing mentoring & role modelling to younger participants they work towards their goals of developing life skills
- Assistance with daily & household tasks for some participants
- Assistance with self care
- Maintenance of progress notes and good record-keeping
- Sound computer, written and verbal communication skills

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
As a key member of the team, we consider it essential you have:

- Relevant qualifications and experience in supporting people
- Exceptional people skills (communication skills, written, verbal and listening)
- Blue Card, Yellow ( screening) card, NDIS modules, Open “C” class driver’s license, Australian citizen or permanent resident
