**The Role**

The Lead People Business Partner will provide leadership for the P&C Business Partners and serve as an internal consultant to the organisation on human resources-related issues and needs, with a strong knowledge base in employment law and workplace relations. They will assess and anticipate HR-related needs, and through collaborative partnerships across the organisation, will play a key role in aligning HR services and strategies with organisational priorities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- **Emotional intelligence**: High degree of emotional intelligence, humility and influencing skills
- **Operational WR and HR advice**: Extensive experience providing timely, clear and reliable workplace relations (WR) and HR advice as a generalist - incl. change management, performance management, recruitment and remuneration
- **Relevant WR experience**: Proven track record in navigating the Australian workplace relations landscape, including the ability to interpret complex industrial instruments, understand the interplay with State and Federal legislation and address employee concerns
- **Business partnering**: Established track record as a strategic collaborator, and ability to effectively partner with people leaders and employees
