At Jetstar, we are seeking an experienced **Digital Product Owner** to oversee two scrum squads working on our brand-new app. You will work closely with the Product Lead, taking responsibility for setting, prioritising, and evaluating the work generated by the delivery teams to ensure impeccable features and functionality are released in an Agile way. We are replacing our current in market app and have a tight timeline to do this.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage the common backlog of two scrum squads both building features simultaneously for the app
- Work with the Product Lead to define the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities for the app
- Provide vision and direction to the Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the project and work with the BAs for each squad, to build out requirements
- Plan, prioritise and manage the product feature backlog and development for the product
- Align work in the app with the other teams in digital and stakeholders across the flying business
- Ensure iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories is of the correct standard whilst maintaining that the team always has an adequate backlog of prepared tasks to work on
- Assess value, develop cases and opportunity, prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Help lead the product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

**Requirements and qualifications**:

- 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner, Agile Project Manager, Business Analyst or similar role in software development
- Knowledge of Agile process and principles and experience working Scrum
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative thinker with a vision
- Excellent attention to detail, influencing skills
- Relevant tertiary education
- Experience with developing Hybrid Apps an advantage
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or similar relevant field preferred
