**About the Role**

As the Engagement Events Lead, you'll be at the forefront of scoping, planning, designing, and delivering internal events for the council. Your creativity and organisational skills will shine as you lead the charge in crafting engaging experiences that foster a sense of community and connection among staff.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the planning and delivery of the inaugural CBCity All Staff Event and other internal events.
- Contribute to the creative design of events to support the Purpose and Ambition of the council.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and organize events within allocated budgets.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to build relationships and ensure seamless event execution.
- Provide consultation, advice, and support to the working group to manage, support, and deliver quality events.
- Promote and display Council's brand and reputation with integrity at all events.
- Prepare and implement risk management plans in alignment with Council's Risk Management Framework.

**About You**
- A tertiary qualification in Event Management, Marketing or a related discipline and/or appropriate professional experience
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-disciplined, and multi-project environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Capacity to work under pressure and ensure the delivery of quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in major event management, including end-to-end event planning and delivery.
- Previous experience supporting community committees and internal stakeholders
