As a Finance Coordinator at our North Sydney office, you will play a pivotal role in our finance team, responsible for managing billing support files, invoicing customers, and proactively ensuring timely cash collection. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively will be key assets in this role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collect billing supporting files and send out customer invoices.
- Generate monthly AR Aging reports and update commentary.
- Proactively manage cash collection, including keeping detailed notes.
- Allocate payments to invoices in various finance systems and maintain Cash Flow Report.
- Issue monthly statements and reminder notice letters for credit accounts.
- Follow up on customer inquiries and collaborate with the operations team to resolve collection issues.
- Perform monthly AR GL reconciliation and other periodic reports as per the group's requirements.
- Deliver excellent customer service to both external and internal stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested information and clarifications.
- Undertake other ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required.
**Skills and Experience**:
- 1-3+ years' experience in a similar finance role.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate financial records.
- Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities to resolve issues swiftly.
- The capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience with SAP, Peoplesoft, or other large ERP systems is highly desired.
