**Responsibilities of the Role
**You will provide specialised technical support in the detection, investigation and rectification of more complex faults and routines associated with Telstra’s IP Network platforms, (including RDN, TID, Next IP, IPMAN, EDN, and Data Centre Networks).

**What You’ll Do
**Global Networks & Technology - Security & Operations is responsible for Telstra's security and operations, protecting Telstra's assets and infrastructure.

**Key Accountabilities
- Provide specialised technical expertise in the investigation and rectification of more complex faults and routines.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups such as Level3/DevOps and Engineering to enable IP Networks to achieve its business objectives.
- Mentor team members to grow their technical and leadership capabilities within IP Networks team.
- Assist, develop and maintain technical and administrative IP Network process documentation as required.
- Positively influence team members and outcomes to deliver an excellent customer experience for every managed incident.
- Assist with KPI/OLA reporting analysis and provide input into post incident investigations as required.
- Display strong ownership and relentless drive of IP Network incidents through to resolution.
- Take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself and others in the workplace
- Ensure that co-workers are treated respectfully and without any form of discrimination, harassment, or victimisation
- Perform Jeopardy Management within IP Networks and with relevant stakeholders to ensure incident resolution within Service Level Agreements

**About You
**Qualifications/experiences
- **Technical Diploma / Engineering or IT degree level qualifications or equivalent experience**:

- **Experience with Networking monitoring tools**:

- **CCNA**:

- **JNCIA**:

- **ITILv3**:
**- **Solid and proven experience with Data Centre, Firewall and Cloud Technologies and**:

- **Services, including practical knowledge and certifications in Cisco, Juniper, F5, Radware,**:

- **Check Point and other Appliance technology vendors.**:

- **Ability to identify and develop strategies to resolve technical or process deficiencies.**:

- **Demonstrated lateral thinking skills as well as a good analytical approach to problem solving;**:

- **Good understanding of the ITIL Framework as applied to Incident Management.**:

- **Excellent time management skills;**:

- **Demonstrated leadership and coordination skills combined with the ability to drive multiple incidents across all severities in a high pressure, dynamic and real time environment;**:

- **Demonstrated high level of personal motivation and a strong commitment to customer service and network integrity.**:

- **Excellent written and verbal communication skills;**:

- **Broad understanding of current technologies with the ability to learn and develop others in existing and emerging technologies.**:
