Our client provides in-house transport and storage solutions to logistics distribution centres. They are a truly global, family business that seamlessly integrates with their customers, giving local support to the biggest household names.

**YOUR NEW HR CHALLENGE**
This role is based out of Western Sydney and is responsible for providing a guiding light to the new colleagues you will be onboarding into and nurturing in the business, to support the ramping-up of the facility towards a go-live operational situation. The organization is very flat. You will be reporting to the National Human Resource Manager, based at the Brisbane HQ. Your main responsibilities will be:

- **Working hand-in-hand with the National HR manager to establish, optimize and development the local HR processes and methodologies for your site,**:

- **Ensure that recruiting campaigns net the best results in-terms of great quality hires that cultural fit into the business seamlessly,**:

- **Maintain all HR Information Systems (Kronos, SAP, Success Factors) and liaise with external payroll provider**:

- **Provide expert advice on all aspects of HR to staff and management,**

**WHO ARE YOU?**
You are a passionate and experienced HR professional who likes to have fun, in a fast paced, energetic environment with supportive colleagues. You are a ‘do-er’, who enjoys getting the job done by working on a mix of operational and strategic HR activities including : recruitment, payroll, policy development, employee relations, talent & succession planning and more, then this role is definitely for you. You will have the following minimum skills and attributes:

- **Independent and structured way of working, with the confidence to build strong working relationships,**:

- **A working knowledge of the Fair Work Act & previous exposure to blue collar workers, unions and enterprise agreement negotiations would be beneficial,**:

- **A bachelor's degree in HR (or equivalent) is preferred,**:

- **Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally, if required,**:

- **Are flexible to work hours that may involve differing time zones / shift work/ weekends as required, to support the operational requirements of the business,**
