That’s why we’re hiring a talented HR Business Partner to support our Fulfillment Centre Operations teams - part of our wider Operations for the region. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support in executing our people initiatives as well as driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. You will have the ability to partner effectively with frontline team members and other site based operational stakeholders to provide end to end HR support. This is a high profile role where you will lead a number of new and existing Human Resources initiatives while driving best practice employee engagement and retention. To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. What you will be doing: - Implement HR initiatives to drive and maintain an overall culture of excellent employee relations and communication - Coaching and mentoring of leaders from across the Fulfillment Center teams - Proactive gathering of data from appropriate sources to drive decision making - Maintain an emphasis on continuous improvement and best practices to be shared with other Fulfillment Center teams - Collaborate effectively across an number of internal and external teams including Finance, Payroll, Legal - Support in developing innovative, user-friendly shift models - Ability to support a 24/7 environment that has multiple shifts and a significant staffing ramp during our seasonal peak in the fourth quarter. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays. What you will have: You will have a true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement. Your passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement will ensure your success in this role. - Relevant experience in a HR role within an fast-paced and customer driven environment - Demonstrated ability to positively persuade and influence: you’re a skilled negotiator - Proven affinity for working in large scale workforce management - In-depth knowledge of Australian labour laws - Ability to provide meaningful, educational counselling to Fulfillment Centre teams - The ability to step back and look at long term vision for departmental growth - You’re generous with your intellectual curiosity: you bring insight to the team from outside the company and further afield
- Master's Degree or MBA in HRM
- Proficiency with HRIS System
- Human Resources experience with Fortune 500 companies supporting 250-500 or more associates
- Experience in a call center, distribution center, or manufacturing environment
