As a result of sustained growth, we are hiring a **Bookkeeper **to join our **Business Support Services team**, in a full-time or.80 capacity.

Our team of eighty plus staff deliver services in the areas of audit & assurance, business advisory, wealth advisory, personal taxation and superannuation, as well as business, taxation and not-for-profit advisory and consulting.
**Purpose of the position**
A bookkeeper to join our well established team of bookkeepers and provide bookkeeping services to our clients. The role involves collaborating with our accountants in the business advisory team.
**Responsibilities**
Performing work for our clients including;
- Processing accounts payable invoices and creating payments
- Reconciling bank transactions in the accounting system
- Processing payroll on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis
- Preparing monthly/quarterly IAS and BAS
- Visiting clients onsite (although most of the work will be completed at our office)
- Communicating with clients to obtain information/documentation or update job statuses
- Building client and staff relations
- Attending training and team meetings
- Staying up to date with changes to accounting software
**Skills and Capabilities**
- Technical bookkeeping knowledge.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain certification for Xero and QuickBooks Online.
- Ability to build relationships with clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive and “Can do” attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate an ability to exercise initiative and discretion
**Qualifications and prior experience**
- 2 - 3 years prior experience as a bookkeeper
- Experience with relevant software i.e., Xero and QuickBooks Online
