**Wilson Security** are seeking an experienced
**Security Site Supervisor **to join their vibrant team with a high profile client.
- Permanent full time position
- 12 hour rotating shifts
- Level 5 income with leading hand allowance
- Located in Dandenong South

**About the Role**
You will be responsible for leading the team of security officers in a fast paced environment. You will be given full accountability for overseeing the operation and performance of the site reporting to the Site Manager.

Duties will include but not limited to oversight of gatehouse, security office roles and administration tasks.

You will lead by example and be the first point of contact for both client and visitors.

**The position function includes**:

- Staff supervision and frontline performance management
- Take ownership of the site operations and performance by meeting and exceeding client expectations, identifying opportunities and maintaining effective processes
- Direct liaison with client and visitors
- Supervise and provide training to a dedicated team of security officer
- Front line response to operational issues
- Investigation and outcome reporting into security incidents
- Communication and implementation of processes and procedures to enhance client service delivery
- Promote security awareness, interacting with staff and key stakeholders
- Supervising different areas including:

- Gatehouse Operations - Inbound/Outbound
- Security Office / Front of House

**Role Requirements**:

- Gatehouse or Logistic experience preferred
- Experience within the security industry delivering similar outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team
- The confidence and ability to make decision whilst delivering a high level of service
- An ability to manager client and employee relationships
- A sound understand of WHS issues and the ability to manage identified risks
- The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work with conflicting time constraints
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Proactive and problem solving mindset
- Willing to support both client team and security teams
- Computer literate in MS Office Google Spreadsheets and associated programs
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Current VIC Security licence
- Certificate III in Security Operations
- Valid VIC drivers licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- COVID vaccinated
