Job Description Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Electrical Supervisor to join our Southeast Water project team, based in Dandenong South to lead and develop our electrical trades team
About the Role

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Dandenong, Vic

Reporting Line: Mechanical/Electrical Manager

Reporting to the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Manager, the Electrical Supervisor will:

- Lead with safety front of mind and be an advocate for our values Delivery, People and Accountability
- Lead, develop and provide day to day technical support to the electrical team
- Work collaboratively with the Mechanical team to coordinate activities across the large project and oversee workshop activities
- Manage, plan, organise, coordinate, monitor and report all site activities
- Conduct site audits and inspections in accordance with the required standards
- Working closely with our existing customers to continue our trusted partner relationship
- Provide support on Reactive, Maintenance and Installation works
- Support the electrical team with learning and development by providing ongoing feedback on training requirements
- Deliver site toolbox meetings
- Provide input in to quoting and close out work orders
- Participate in duty roster

About You

You are a motivated and driven leader with great communication and problem-solving skills. You have experience inspecting, testing, adjusting, and repairing electrical plant equipment while working to a strict set of quality systems.

You will also have:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Water industry
- Experience in Electrical field hands on problem solving
- Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of Instrumentation
- Knowledge of Water industry infrastructure and asset management systems
- Strong leadership capability
- Strong communication skills both internal and external stakeholders
- Time management, planning and organising
- Sound knowledge in Microsoft office suite (Work/ Excel/ Outlook)
- Ability to respond calmly and decisively during a major incident or emergency
