**About our Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced **Afternoon Shift Warehouse Supervisor** to lead our PM warehouse operations. You’ll be responsible for the supervision of all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking customer orders, loading and transporting bulk customised freight, and inventory control. This is a critical role for our Victorian operations, requiring a leader who ensures we effectively service and deliver to our customers.

As the Supervisor for the PM shift, you will:

- Lead and support a warehouse workforce of up to 20 personnel, plus oversee a small production team of 8, with responsibility for closing the manufacturing site at the end of the shift.
- Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all WHS policies and procedures, and conduct toolbox talks and safety observations regularly.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch to meet DIFOT (Delivery in Full on Time) targets.
- Maintain accurate stock levels through cycle counts and support stocktake activities. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and manage training needs to ensure efficient use of labour resources.
- Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes to enhance productivity, reduce errors, and improve service levels.
- Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and operated safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with transport, customer service, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain professional and ethical conduct with all stakeholders.

**Permanent full-time role, hours are**:
Monday to Thursday 2:30pm - 11:30pm
Friday 1:30pm - 10:30pm

**About You**

We’re searching for a hands-on leader with a background in warehouse operations, preferably in building material manufacturing or bulk customised freight. You’ll have a flexible leadership style, strong people management skills, and the ability to maintain high levels of employee engagement. Adaptability in communication is key for working with a diverse team and customer base.

You will also bring:

- Experience with ERP / WMS systems
- Ability to analyse data and reporting
- Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
- Forklift Licence (LF) - essential
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
- Certificate III or IV in Warehousing, Logistics, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse processes
- Knowledge of safety standards in warehousing and transport, including mobile plant & equipment, safety auditing, and load restraints
