The Caravan & Camping Industries Association of South Australia (CCIASA) is the state’s peak body of the outdoor leisure industry, working to promote and advocate for caravan, camping, and associated trades in South Australia. The Association is a membership-based organisation, with members including retailers, manufacturers, hirers, service providers, repairers, and suppliers. CCIASA organises and manages a range of marketing activities and events to raise consumer awareness for its members while fostering relationships with relevant associations, government, and regulatory bodies to ensure the welfare of the industry. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed and passionate leader to take the next step in their career and join CCIASA as their Chief Executive Officer.

**Role Overview**

Reporting to and working closely with CCIASA’s President and Committee, the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for facilitating the realisation of the Association’s strategic plan by overseeing its day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities. This role will provide effective leadership to the CCIASA’s team while working in collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders to enhance the Association’s presence and improve its service offerings to members.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government, regulatory, and industry bodies, and advocating on behalf of its members;
- Overseeing the planning and execution of CCIASA’s marketing strategies and events to increase consumer awareness and grow its membership base;
- Providing general administrative support and overseeing CCIASA’s budget and finances;
- Contributing to the development of state and national policy while ensuring CCIASA meets regulatory requirements;
- Collaborating with the President and Committee to provide input on and execute the Association’s strategic plan.
