The SACE Board of South Australia seeks an outstanding individual to provide visionary and inspirational leadership as its next Chief Executive (CE), building on strong foundations and playing a significant role in driving the achievement of the organisation’s _Thrive_ Strategic Framework. The CE will bring enthusiasm, wisdom and gravitas to realise an aspirational vision of leading educational change and transformation, shaping education so that students thrive.

The CE is responsible for leading the implementation of the Board’s vision, providing direction and governance to ensure the successful delivery of strategic and financial goals. In addition to providing visionary and strategic leadership to ensure impact through a thriving Agency, the CE plays an important role in national and state education policy and thought leadership, positioning the SACE Board at the forefront of transforming senior secondary education.

The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is a modern, internationally recognised secondary school qualification, designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge and personal capabilities to successfully participate in our fast-paced, global society.
