**Description**:
Purpose
The Learning and Development Facilitator plays a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of our organisation by designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training programs tailored to the needs of our employees and service providers.
This role contributes to the overall success of the organisation by fostering a continuous learning culture and supporting the professional growth of our workforce.
This is an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Identified role where Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity, cultural knowledge, or connections are a genuine aspect of the role. The Affirmative measure - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment provision is set out in section 26 of the Australian Public Service Commissioner’s Directions 2016 and is within the meaning of special measures under subsection 8(1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975.
**Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Deliver a large variety of training programs, from an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander perspective, as they align to the CoAct Learning and Development framework as well as additional professional development programs.
- Deliver face to face and virtual training to CoAct Service Partners in a variety of formats including but not limited to workshops, webinars, conferences.
- Work with Operational teams from within CoAct and the wider membership to document best practice and to develop relevant, industry-specific training materials
- Research required training areas using all available media (e.g. Government Deed/guidelines, white papers, books, SMEs)
- Deliver engaging learning activities and compelling course delivery that enhances retention and knowledge transfer.
- State instructional end goals and ensure that all Service Partners are supported and guided to achieve end goals.
- Oversee the tracking and reporting on e-learning completions using LMS.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander resources.
Personal Attributes
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders including senior management and communicate effectively with all levels across the organisation
- Strong interpersonal and team skills and behaviours, incorporating verbal and written communication, flexibility and resilience
Required Experience
- Experience in Employment Services within applicable contracts (Disability Employment Services (DES), Workforce Australia (WFA), Transition to Work (TtW)
- Extensive experience in facilitation preferably in both virtual and face to face
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills
- High level of skill in Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Ability to create and curate engaging e-learning content
