IT Test Lead

**Full Time Fixed Term Position - Up to 3 Year Contract**

**Band 8 - Salary Range $123,831 to $138,629 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO**

**Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.**

**The Opportunity**

At Melton City Council, we are dedicated to creating a vibrant and liveable city for everyone. As part of the Transformation team, you will be key to delivering the Transformation Change Program (TCP) transitioning from our current technology provider to One Council.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and manage the defect management process involving project team, business stakeholder and vendor triage, status reporting and issue escalation.
- Develop or assist in the development of Test Plan(s) and other testing documentation.
- Execute testing and support inexperienced testers with test execution.
- Analyse and log incidents / defects using appropriate defect management tool.
- Prepare and present test products and test cases for product quality review and / or assurance in accordance with the IT Project Management framework as required using templates provided.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Tertiary Education in either Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Scaled Agile Framework Certification.
- Strong knowledge of testing theory, methods, techniques and tools, and proven experience of system testing, system integration testing and UAT.
- Experience working with defect management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Test Rail.
- Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, Testing and QA processes.
