Commercial Manager

Lendlease Building is looking for Commercial Managers to join the project s team to oversee commercial matters on our major, high profile, multi-million-dollar projects based in the heart of Sydney.
As Commercial Manager, you will be required to take ownership of all commercial aspects of a project including administration of the head contract and subcontracts, developing the procurement strategy and processes, as well as outlining cost controls, budgets and manage project cash flow. You will also be responsible to ensuring that contracts and tender documents contain the necessary EH&S inclusions. As this is a leadership role you will lead and mentor your commercial and administration project team through to handover based on site.
In this key position, it is critical that you have substantial experience within a main contractor environment having worked in a similar project-based contract and financial management position.
Additionally, you will be an expert across contract management, construction law and quantity surveying. It goes without saying that your strength must be aligned with to the building sector whilst having managed teams you will naturally demonstrate the ability to led and develop others less experienced than yourself. A relevant degree supported by significant experience from pre-construction through to delivery will be favoured.
Experience across major building project is essential (ideally with previous major high-rise residential) so too is the ability to drive forecast and internal reporting to range of Lendlease stakeholders.
