What are we looking for?
D4C is seeking a talented Commercial Lead with a passion for delivering world class infrastructure.
We are looking for a dynamic leader to oversee the commercial risk management of the wider business whilst supporting multiple internal and external stakeholders.
The role involves leading a team of 8 quantity surveyors and procurement specialists, advising and mitigating the contractual risk across 150 projects.
The opportunities in this role / roles includes, but are not limited to:

- Leading the team to best support the business delivering up to $300M worth of projects per year
- Providing NEC4 Contract training periodically
- Supporting the senior leadership team and broader business with commercial advice as required
- Negotiating/drafting/executing subcontracts, deeds, agreements, leases, compound licenses, subcontract extensions, and any commercially related documents relevant to the Program
- Assist the wider business in approval of projects by supporting the tendering process, including reviews/amendment of submissions
- Attendance of commercial workshops/seminars/meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commercial alignment
- Liaising with key stakeholders including legal teams from each home organisation

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current Drivers License.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or other relevant field
- Working knowledge of applicable industry standard forms of contract, with NEC3 / NEC4 experience/knowledge highly desirable.
- Full pre and post contract QS knowledge and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience within the water/wastewater utility industry in a tier one environment is desirable.
