**Your next career opportunity**
As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you'll spearhead cutting-edge research in mooring systems for offshore floating wind turbines. You'll develop advanced numerical models, conduct experimental studies, and collaborate with international partners to solve complex engineering challenges. This role offers you the chance to shape the future of renewable energy while mentoring the next generation of researchers.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Conduct Advanced Research: Develop and validate numerical models for offshore mooring systems, focusing on soil-chain interactions in carbonate seabeds.
- Disseminate Findings: Publish high-quality journal articles and present at conferences to share research outcomes.
- Mentor Students: Co-supervise PhD students, providing guidance on research methods and supporting their academic development.

**You may be a great fit if**:
You are a passionate researcher with a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field, possessing strong numerical modelling skills and a proven track record of high-quality publications in offshore engineering.

**You may also**:

- Have a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Have proficiency in computer programming, particularly using Fortran or Python.
- Show strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
