**About this Opportunity**:
We’re looking for a Student Experience Manager to join the Campus Engagement team at UQ Sport. In this role you will be responsible for student-based sport and recreational programs and activities with the aim of enhancing UQ Students experience.

We’re looking for an energized leader who can bring fresh ideas to the table to enhance the student experience program. Your passion for sports and community engagement will drive your success in this role.

**In this role you will**:

- Develop and deliver student participation strategies, initiatives and programs, including student athlete representation at inter-university competitions
- Develop and manage student inclusion programs
- Manage the Competitions Officer and deliver strategies to maximize participation in social and inter-college sporting competitions
- Coordinating the social and inter-college sporting competitions and manage the Sports officials and convenors for these events
- In liaison with the Campus Engagement Manager, develop and manage the student experience budget and reporting
- Collaborate and foster strong relationship with key student-centric university stakeholders.

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- Have a minimum of 3 years in a similar role with tertiary qualifications in sport or leisure related industry
- First Aid and CPR qualifications
- Blue Card
- Ability to build effective relationships with high level of written and verbal communication
- Ability to lead and manage a large team, external activity providers, and volunteers.
