**The role**:
ASX listed construction organisation based Inner-South Sydney.

They are hiring an Accounts Receivable & Billings officer in which there is a large number of accounts to manage.

**The role**:

- Completeness of income: Accurately record and execute all required Cher Reports, Chase Reports, Summary Invoicing and other associated activities, to allow for timely submission of billing documents to customers in order to facilitate payment to AR,
- Working capital improvement through being involved in the development billing efficiencies or process improvements.
- Provide all possible assistance to AR Officers in all teams to assist them with collection of accounts.
- Maintain compliance with established SLA’s with the BU’s.
- Monitoring quality, authorisation and compliance of billing activities.
- Overseeing the billing cycle processes for the timely input of billing information and posting/submission of invoices.
- Accurate and up to date customer statements leading to improved collection action.
- Collaborate and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution and return of billing documents or resolving discrepancies preventing these activities from being performed.
- Where necessary, process Credits or Adjustments to facilitate invoicing and payment.
- Join and actively participate in departmental or cross departmental work groups targeting specific areas for improvement as identified in AR
- Actively embrace & demonstrate behaviours associated with the Coates Hire values and build effective working relationships with external and internal business partners based on trust and dependability, particularly BU, SMT, Sales and Branch staff
- Ensure personal growth: Be on the lookout for training and development needs for yourself
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Undertake any additional duties that are within your skill set and safe
- Previous experience in a fast paced Accounts receivable or billings environment
- A good understanding of Credit Management, collection techniques, reporting and credit risk
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and be willing to liaise with our customers via the phone
- Experience from a shared service
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have experience working under pressure and autonomously
