**The opportunity**:
Visy Logistics is seeking a dynamic Logistics Analyst - Transport to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting in-depth analyses of customer needs to determine transport requirements, including resource modelling, fleet planning, utilisation, and equipment needs.

Reporting to the Head of Logistics Development, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Conduct Cost / Benefit Analysis.
- Present modelling/analysis results in clear and accurate manner.
- Challenge existing models/solutions and provide feedback/alternatives.
- Create documentation of assumptions and parameters used in modelling and analysis.
- Develop innovative solutions for optimising logistics operations, transportation.
- Perform detailed modelling and analysis to evaluate possible changes to existing or new transport
- Conduct detailed analyses using simulation and optimisation techniques to ensure proposed solutions are operationally feasible and aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that align with core product offerings and drive commercial viability.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3 years + analytical experience, ideally gained within the logistics industry.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, and data visualization software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with safety management systems/software platforms preferred.
- Excellent communication skills: Written, verbal, reporting & presentations.
