**The Opportunity**
Goal Group is seeking a number of experienced Workforce Analysts / Senior Workforce Analysts to join our team, working on high profile Defence capital acquisition program or as part of an embedded Program Management Office (PMO) within Defence - providing workforce analysis in support of the development and maintenance of workforce intelligence systems and tools for Defence /ADF.

Your role may involve the following, depending on the program:

- Capture resource requirements for the program and develop workforce plan.
- Forecast future resource needs based on program plans in consultation with stakeholders.
- Monitor resources - these could be on deployments, or training, leave ensuring staffing levels align with requirements.
- Conduct labour force, demographic and socio-economic analysis.
- Assist in delivering project outcomes that comply with relevant legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks and Defence quality and configuration management systems
- Assess training needs across the organisation or program.

Experience/Skills Sought
- Recent or current Australian Defence experience.
- Understanding of workforce analysis and Defence/CASG HR systems.
- Understanding of Defence processes and structure.
- Understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle).
- Ability to provide and deliver strategic level advice, presentations, and reports to the Program / Defence senior executive while demonstrating forward-thinking within the unique characteristics of the Defence workforce environment.
- Highly effective, formal and informal communication skills including advanced technical writing skills.
- Ability to analyse, design, plan, execute, and evaluate work to time, cost and quality targets while assessing and evaluating risk.

Highly desirable:

- Experience in pre-Acquisition project activities including design, development and tender evaluations
