- The opportunity:

- We are seeking a highly experienced Building Services Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or Fire and Hydraulic) / Design Manager for a range of Built Environment projects with a focus on the Defence sector. You will be:
- Leading projects and/or work packages on major projects to deliver strong commercial outcomes for the business and our clients
- Coordinating multidisciplinary project design teams consisting of architects, engineers, planners, environmental and other specialty discipline experts.
- Administering complex contractual requirements with Commonwealth and Contractor clients alike.
- Preparing designs, reports, specifications and other deliverables for capital infrastructure projects in the Built form in accordance with relevant Defence and Australian design standards to a high level of technical excellence
- Undertaking technical reviews of engineering projects
- Due to the nature of the role, you must be an Australian citizen. You will already have or be able to obtain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Baseline Security Clearance or above. We will be able to assist you with this.
- Some short duration travel will be required to Defence Bases in cities and regional locations across SA and possibility interstate.
- With relevant tertiary engineering qualifications, you will have proven skills and knowledge of both Defence and Australian design standards and appreciation of multi-disciplinary requirements of Defence projects in feasibility, preliminary and detailed design.Job Profile
