Healthcare Request is an established, family-owned and operated business with a team dedicated to improving the lives of NDIS participants in our care through the provision of comprehensive support services and accommodation. The size and quality of our team and service also gives us the reputation and opportunity to support other local organisation through the provision of on-demand support staff and accommodation solutions.
With a team of approximately 150 dedicated staff, we’re primed and ready to embark upon our next phase of growth, and are seeking a collaborative, professional Business Services Manager to be a part of our future success.
**About the Role**
Your key responsibility will be to support the delivery of quality services through the effective and efficient operation and ongoing development of Healthcare Request’s business infrastructure. Your key areas of responsibility will include human resources/people & culture, general administration, customer care, compliance and quality, fleet and property, and marketing.
You’ll work closely with the General Manager/Owners of the business and be supported in your role by a team of 5 or so direct reports/specialists.
**About You**
This role is critical to the ongoing success of the business and will require you to work across the business to conceive and manage change in order to improve culture and performance. Exceptional interpersonal and change management skills are a must.
- Proven experience in at least one of the key functions that fall within the scope of the role, combined with reasonable knowledge/exposure to other functions (good HR knowledge and experience is preferred)
- Relevant experience in a similar SME organisation/industry (experience in the community services/NDIS sector would be great, though not essential)
- Demonstrated leadership capability and experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with a positive, proactive and collaborative approach
- Proven ability to effectively manage a diversity of day-to-day operations, high-volume workloads and multiple stakeholders
- Good business analysis skills combined with the ability to conceptualise, formulate and deliver system and process improvements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Sound computer skills and general “tech-savviness”
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline would be well-regarded.
