We are going through a period of exciting growth and are currently seeking a Payroll Manager to join us on this journey. Heading up our team of ten payroll officers across the Sydney and Gold Coast offices, you will oversee the department ensuring pay processes are timely and accurate, and our veterinary clinics are well supported and trained. In the coming 12-24 months we will be integrating two payroll systems and two time and attendance systems, so you will need to be comfortable with project management and stakeholder engagement. We are seeking a very experienced customer service-focussed payroll manager, with the confidence and demeanour to engage with the wider business to sustain our departments’ great reputation.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Experience a managing a payroll department in a complex corporate environment, specifically via a time and attendance system across multiple entities with different rule sets,
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience with payroll systems integrations/implementations,
- Experience in New Zealand payroll, including calculations under the Holidays Act, as well as Australian payroll,
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy,
- Strong Excel skills,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and relationship building skills,
- A customer service-focused, self-directed and responsible attitude, with respect for the privacy and sensitivity of the data we are entrusted with, and
- Experience with HR3 and/or Emplive would be an advantage but not essential.
