Our client, a leading national manufacturing company, specialises in the sale and distribution of a wide range of locally manufactured
residential and DIY home improvement products, working with small to medium distributors and homeowners across the country.
Due to the business experiencing significant growth, they are looking for an experienced Production Manager to take a lead role in
developing their manufacturing facility and people to handle the next stage in their growth and development plans.

**_You're Responsibilities_**
Based in the northern suburbs of Brisbane and reporting to the Head of Operations, this role will be responsible for:

- Support the OH&S policies and procedures across the businesses manufacturing facilities.
- Developing, manage and lead a medium size team of assembly personal in a semi-automated manufacturing plant.
- Managing production and distribution to tight customer deadlines.
- Leading the improvement process, increasing productivity, and reducing costs in line with KPI's.
- Inventory planning, purchasing and stock logístical requirements and control.

- Demonstrated experience in a growing semi-automated, lean thinking manufacturing business.
- A solid understanding of efficient manufacturing, systems, processes, and procedures.
- Strong planning, organizing, communication and time management skills.
- A positive and enthusiastic "can do" attitude that is underpinned by a "role up the sleeves” leadership style.
